Editing a Web Page

This lesson will teach you how to edit an existing web page on a Drupal website hosted at the Baskin School of Engineering.

This lesson assumes that you have logged in to your Drupal site and that you have created a web page that you want to edit.

Editing a web page is very similar to creating a new web page. Instead of clicking the Add Content link in the menu on the left, you browse to the page you wish to edit first. Once you are looking at the web page you want to edit, you should see an Edit tab at the top of the screen. Once you've clicked the Edit tab, you will be presented with a form that allows you to change the page's title, body, menu options, and possibly more. There are separate lessons for each additional field that you may be able to edit. Please consult those additional lessons for more information about each additional field.

When you are done editing the web page, be sure to click Save at the bottom. If you do not click Save, your changes will be lost.
