To print to a Pharos printer from a Windows computer, please follow the following procedure.
Verify you're on the proper network
Pharos printers only work if you’re connected to the campus network one of three ways:
- Hard-Wired (Ethernet) Connection
- EDUROAM
- Campus VPN
Install Ricoh Drivers
Download and install the Pharos Popup program from the following URL:
http://cppharos.ad.ucsc.edu/Uniprint/CPSecurePrintingRicoh_for_Lte.exe
Verify Printer
NOTE: Be sure you're clicking on Ricoh_Secure_Printing, not Canon_Secure_Printing. The driver package installs both, but we are only using the Ricoh drivers.
- In Windows 7 and before, locate the printer management control panel by clicking Start, Control Panel, Printers. In Windows 10 and later, click Start and then start typing Printers, and select the Devices and Printers app.
- If you do not see a Ricoh_Secure_Printing printer, please re-try the steps listed above.
