Since we're working with UNIX, there are at least a dozen ways to do things, but this is the way that we support:
You'll need four things to use X-Windows applications on a PC:
To get things going, you'll need to first configure the SSH client:
Under the Edit menu, click Settings (Edit -> Settings), click on the Tunneling setting:

Click the checkbox next to Tunnel X11 Connections, then click Okay.
Under the File menu, click Save Settings (File -> Save Settings).
Under the File menu, click Exit (File -> Exit).
Once the SSH client is set up, all you need to do is start up your X-Windows server (X-Win32 v5 is what we support), open the SSH Secure Shell application, connect to an BSOE UNIX host, and run whatever X-Windows application you'd like. Note that it's considered bad form to run Netscape over an X11 SSH tunnel.
In the example below, I've opened an SSH connection to Sundance (lower left), and from there I've run an xterm (upper left) and started MatLab (r) (right).
